This building known as Raj Vilas Palace was built in the year 1866 and originally used to house the Resident and Agent to the Governor General of India. Now, this same building was converted into a Hotel, known as Hotel Raj Vilas Palace, with major structural changes so as to transform the same into a luxurious Deluxe hotel with almost all facilities of a Five-Star hotel.
