With high praise for its Manga Chertha Prawn Curry, Fish Moilee, Karimeen, Parippu Payasam and lots more. Since 1963, we have been delighting foodies everywhere with our cuisine.  Rooms & Suites

Being one of the oldest hotels in the city, Grand comes from an era when space saving was not necessary. Each of its 39 rooms is large and has wooden flooring. The hotel was completely revamped in 2001, but its essential art deco characteristics have been carefully preserved.

Grand Pavillion Restaurant
Grand could perhaps be credited with introducing the concept of ‘dining out’ in the city, long before it became fashionable. Grand Pavillion is known literally across the state for its signature ‘Karimeen Pollichathu’. And its fame continues to spread.

Though best loved for authentic Kerala preparations, Grand also serves equally delectable continental, Indian and Chinese food.

Couchyn
Drawing inspiration from old maps and chronicles of the city, the bar at Grand has been named Couchyn, as it was known to the 17th century Dutch and Portuguese. Couchyn is more than just a watering hole – it is a comfort zone for the city’s elite.
