Itinerary:
Day 01-03: Munnar
Welcome at the airport on arrival and
transfer to Munnar and accordingly check-into
the hotel. Munnar is rated as most delightful
and wonderful hill station situated
in the Western ghats stretched at 5000
ft. above sea level. This is considered
as most elegant and one of the best
and beautiful hill stations in kerala
and is the foremost centre of kerala’s
tea industry. Munnar as may be called
by other name and considered of three
rivers and the town is situated at the
concourse of three mountain streams
i.e. Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale.
These three streams uniting with each
other rest at the heart of the town
and meet all the requirements of the
settlers and visitors to its best. Munnar
has lakes, forests and several tea estates
and worth to watch and very attractive.
It is also wonderful to watch the highest
peak as called Anaimudi as near by to
it in South India measuring 2695 m/-8883
ft. At times, Munnar was the British
government’s summer resort in South
and considered to be the famous and
favorite summer resort of European settlers
that lasted and continued to be for
centuries. Many of the chiefly and Versatile
sight seeing attractions and source
of happiness visiting that include are
the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam
National Park, the High Range Club,
Top station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam,
Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor,
Pallivasal/ Pothamedu etc.
Day 04: Thekkady
Thereafter, proceed to Thekkady and
check-into the hotel. Thekkady is also
rated as paradise for real and original
spices as like black pepper, clove,
Cardamom and cinnamon. The best is considered
in thekkady is to go for boating on
the lake and the Mullai Periyar Dam
and also worth to visit and exciting.
Generally it takes on boat two hours
and you can enjoy the choicest views
and picturesque of wild animals. It
is also very essential and worth taking
photos. Keep with you digital camera
with optical zoom so as to enable you
to take closer shots of the animals.
It is also to explore the possibilities
of great satisfaction and happiness
for adventure tourism in Thekkady. There
are various programmers being carried
out by the forest Department and offer
like Periyar Tiger Trail, Nature Walk,
and Bamboo Rafting etc. Other bodies
include like private organizations and
government agencies i.e. KTDC promoting
most glamorous adventure tourism in
Thekkady. Various other enjoyable and
delightful programmers are also being
functioned by these agencies that keep
tourists and visitors to see and learn
the cultivation of various spices of
Kerala for their interest accordingly.
Day 05: Kumarakom
Thereafter visit to Kumarakom and accordingly
check-into the hotel. It is well known
that Kumarakom as titled, the Queen
of Vembanad is a distinguished “resort”
destination. This small and little village
on the edge of Vembanad Lake was practically
unknown till one Henry Baker bought
and required this land till then king
of Travancore and made grand and beautiful
home with his own analysis and requirements.
Kumarakom presently is considered to
be of complete network of modern resorts
and heritage, homes cum hotels over
The Island’s bank. Visit to Bird Sanctuary
in Kumarakom is must and practically
very ideal and eye-catching watching
delightful and elegant small streams/rivers
and waterways alike wonder canal or
so called navigable river. The beautiful
sanctuary of Vembanad Lake covered by
mangrove forests and paddy fields appeared
to be one of best sites for bird viewing
inside the Sanctuary. The great and
large population of birds consisting
lovely feathers of its class along with
adequate pleasing climatic conditions
transforming into delightful picnic
spot. Undoubtedly, Kumarakom is a famous
and a most remarkable backwater destination
in Kerala and a must to do motor boating
or house boating and spend, consume
and enjoy the exotic beauty of the backwater
like a source of heaven at its best
and peak satisfaction for the visitors
and tourists. This also relates to boat
cruising on the lovely and beautiful
Vembanad Lake as one of the best way
of experience is to enjoy bird-watching
in the park. Visitors and tourists can
also discover the joy of viewing and
photography of wild life in Pathiramanal
consisting of a small island on the
lake. There are many more notable magnifying
old churches at the backwater town of
Kottayam nearby to Kumarakom that is
worth visiting place which is also surrounded
with thick rubber plantation inspiring

Day 06: Cochin
Drive to Cochin airport for departure
with sweet and unforgettable memories
of the best planned tour.
