Maurya Residency - Guruvayoor

 Resort Overview

Promoted with NRI fundings "MAYURA RESIDENCY" was conceptualized to bring world class accommodation to the discerning tourists as well as pilgrims whose requirements have changed with time and it was felt that Guruvayur should now move from a town of lodges to a town of professionally designed and run hotels. "MAYURA RESIDENCY" has 65 guest rooms.

The hotel has an Atrium Lobby with original murals adorning the lobby walls from the Guruvayur School of mural paintings run by the Guruvayur Devaswom. Ample car parking for 2 coaches and upto 30 cars at a time will give you an idea as to what detailing has gone into the layout of the hotel. All the fittings used in the guest rooms and public areas, including the massive chandeliers in the lobby & the restaurant have been specifically imported for this purpose.

Rooms Services
Rooms service at "Mayura Residency" is round the clock and we have a well established room service department that handles the service. Guests can choose from a very comprehensive menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner or for something like a snack or drink between meals.

Handled by house keeping professionals guest laundry is delivered on the same day if given before a specified time.

Doctor on call
The hotel has tied up with doctors from the different branches of medicine who will attend to specific ailments of guests during the duration of their stay with us should the need arise. We have had guests who have left their aged parents in our care time and again and we sure are proud to say that we accomplished taking care of them just as they would have been taken care of back at home.

Safe Deposit Locker
Safety locker facilities are also available for the safekeeping of the valuables of our guests during their stay at "Mayura Residency".

AMRUTHUM is our multi-cuisine restaurant which serves an array of North Indian, South Indian and Chinese cuisines. Traditional South Indian Thali meals also available here. The restaurant has a very pleasant décor with green granite walls with lush tapestry and furnishings.

We say that "Marriages are made at The Mayura Residency" and to back it up the slogan "Be a guest at your daughter's wedding". Indian marriages are full of varied customs and rituals which with changing times we have slowly forgotten making these functions a major exercise when it does dawn in one's family.

At The Mayura Residency we are proud to say that all one has to do is to give us your requirements and leave the rest to us which in actual terms is quite a tall order but then we also have a big list of guest references to back this claim. MARRIAGE HALLS

NALINAM
Located on the first with a seating capacity of 500 persons in theatre style this centrally air-conditioned marriage hall a built in hand carved wooden mandapam along with an aesthically decorated interior lends a rich look to your function. The air-conditioned dining halls on the same floor are adjacent give a very comfortable atmosphere during the sadya and this is a feature that leaves most of the competition behind.

PRANAVAM
Similar to the Nalinam in grandeur is much more larger and has a capacity of 900 to 1000 persons. The Nandanam roof garden is adjacent and its from here that one can have a bird eye view of the Guruvayur Temple and lends a large area accessible for the guests attending a function being held here.

CONFERENCE HALL
Make your conference great and conduct it with elegance. For limited members upto 100 pax the facility stands noble.
