Goa Trance was firstly known as Techno. It was developed by Goa DJs in 1990’s. Goa trance is a hypnotic mix of a heavy electronic beat, with lighter classical Indian music. Artists emphasize more on the spiritual side of music. Goa trance is performed by DJs, especially in Europe, Scandinavia and Israel, but Goa Gill is the most famous artist, Dreadlocked and Beared maestro started the full moon parties in the early 1970s and developed the concept of Goa Trance. In 1969 Gill came to India from San Fransisco. He has launced three albums.
