About Hotel Enjoy your holidays at a colonial Goan ancestral villa, one of the very few remaining in the 16-18th century Indo-Portuguese style of the casa de sobrado, which preceded the casa de patio style, India, now a small luxury villa Goa hotel to enjoy in privacy.
Two hundred and seventy five years of history. At one time the house belonged to a governor of Macau, and still has the porcelain china grills that the senhor brought from the east. Later on other members of the family were administrators in Portuguese Mozambique, which is where its other name 'Mosmimcar',
'The Mozambican', comes from.
Today the house is a home for its family and doubles as a welcoming villa heritage hotel in Goa, India, mostly when the family is not there.

The house has seven bedrooms (including two suites) named after trading ports/areas of the 18th century mostly along the Konkan coast where Goa is located, during the time Siolim House was at its prime. Each room or suite has attached tastefully designed large bathrooms.
Rooms
permanent meeting for the two cultures. As regards the accommodation in our boutique hotel, there are four guest rooms in the front building (Macao and Macassar on the first floor, and Malabar and Bahia on the ground floor), and three (Cambay, Damao and Surat) in the rear around the pillared courtyard. Macao and Malabar are the suites, with the latter having 2 large bedrooms. You can see photos on this sitetoo and the architectural plan for the ground floor and for the first floor will give you a better idea of the layout of the property.
