۞ Orientation:
It would require real effort to get lost in Bodh Gaya. The main road through town is interrupted only by a pedestrian strip-mall in front of the Mahabodhi Temple. Thr market, museum, Thai Temple, and Roof Institute—as well as just about every notable sight and hotel in the city—lie on this rickshaw and tonga, path.

۞ Tourist Office:
first block west of the Thai temple. Packaged with hotels and restaurants as the Bihar State Tourism Complex.

۞ Currency Exchange:
State Bank of India, Bodh Gaya Rd. next to the Chinese temple.

۞ Police, Gaya Rd. 200m south of the Burmese Temple.

۞ Hospital:
Conditions at the government hospital, on the left on the way to town, are nolideal. Doctors at Indosan Nipponji Temple's clinic will see tourists with emergencies.

۞ Internet Access:
Internet cafes by the Thai Temple are twice as expensive as the kiosks opposite the Mahabodhi Temple
